In Cumbria, the Anglican, Methodist, URC, and Salvation Army churches have entered an ecumenical, Covenanted Partnership – with Roman Catholic, Baptist, Society of Friends and Church of Scotland
denominations as Companions. It is this Partnership that shares the vision of God for All – that . . .
everyone who lives in, or visits the County should have the opportunity to know more of the love of God and His purpose for their lives. This Covenanted Partnership is not just for the church leaders. It is something of
which all our churches, and therefore all of us, are part.
WALK THE PILGRIM WAY WITH US
A Spiritual ‘footprint’, a touch of history, a breath of fresh air.
Children and dogs welcome.
Join us for a ‘pilgrimage experience’ walk on the Kent Estuary Pilgrim Way. Make of it what you will: a chance to look and listen, to reflect on the past and the present and on the beauty of the landscape, or just a short afternoon social walk with others.
Sunday 21st June: Levens Methodist Church to St Peter’s Heversham
Sunday 19th July: St. Peter’s Heversham to St. Thomas’ Milnthorpe
Sunday 16th August: St. Thomas’ Milnthorpe to St. Michael & All Angels Beetham
All walks start at 2pm. Return transport can be arranged.

There is now a Prayer Group praying for the Working Group and the wider congregations, as we all seek to discern a way forward that might best support our congregational life and enable the worship, witness and intentional mission of the churches in the Kent Estuary in the coming years.
