Pet Service

A Thank-you Message about the Pet Service

Dear Friends,
This is a belated message to say thank you for the delightful Pet Service on 16th June. I felt very welcome and the service was a real celebration of our pets. It was also a service of thanksgiving for our pets and the joy they bring into our lives. I was particularly blessed by the people who came round to pray a blessing for my dog.
I took the service sheet with me when I went “back home” to Birmingham. Everyone thought the pictures and cover were brilliant. I am a member of St. Thomas’ church at Crosscrake/Sedgwick.
Peace be with you. God bless from Jackie and Blaze, woof, woof

Blaze is the tall black and white lurcher who enjoyed every minute of his time with you……..especially the treats.

Following the need to postpone the previous event, a new date has been rearranged for Saturday 21st October at M: HUB in Milnthorpe (10.00am -3.00pm). Please put the date in your diaries now. Growbag is an opportunity to come together as a Mission Community (together with help from the Northern Mission Centre in the Diocese) to reflect on the different ways available to us to share the good news of God as we seek to draw people – in new ways – into the life of the church. Lunch will be provided, and we’ll have the opportunity to hear from different speakers to help guide and hopefully inspire our thinking and reflecting. The day is open to everyone, so please do think about coming along.
